One was Taichung State Industrial School in Changhua established on this campus, and the other was Taichung State Industrial Vocational School in Changhua located at the current campus of National Changhua Senior Commercial Vocational School.

In July 1946, these two schools were merged into one named Taiwan Provincial Changhua Industrial Vocational School. To upgrade the quantity and quality of vocational education, it vastly expanded school buildings and increased all the school facilities and equipments.

In 1969, the name of the school was changed to Taiwan Provincial Changhua Senior Industrial Vocational School.

In July 1984, this school was affiliated to National Taiwan College of Education in order to provide college students with opportunities for teaching practice and curricular needs, and it was named the Affiliated Senior Industrial Vocational School of National Taiwan College of Education.

In August 1989, National Taiwan College of Education was upgraded as National Changhua University of Education. As a result, this school was renamed as the Affiliated Senior Industrial Vocational School of National Changhua University of Education.
